This initiative involved seamlessly integrating their core insurance system with a newly developed website and mobile application, streamlining policy management and improving accessibility for both online and offline users.

The Challenge

GIG Bahrain needed to streamline their processes, enhance customer convenience, and optimize policy management for both their customers and internal brokers. Their existing core system was not equipped to handle the growing need for seamless online and offline policy transactions, renewals, and claims management.

The Solution

Website and Mobile application:

Urbansoft implemented a robust digital transformation, starting with the integration of GIG Bahrain’s core insurance system with a new website and mobile application. The solution enabled customers to:

  • Purchase and renew policies online.
  • Make payments through an integrated gateway.
  • Download and view policy documents.
  • Receive notifications for renewals.

Broker Application:

he Broker Application enables GIG’s brokers to issue policies in real-time, instantly reflecting them in the core system. Customers purchasing through brokers can view and manage policies online or via the mobile app, allowing easy renewals. This integration streamlines policy issuance, enhances transparency, and simplifies the renewal process.

Inspection Application:

The Inspection Application automates the internal claims process. It generates detailed inspection reports, allows direct communication with garages through the Garage Module for repair quotations, and tracks the entire claims workflow. This system reduces manual effort, speeds up claims processing, and enhances overall operational efficiency.
